After some time (April, though) tell you about Windows XP Mode, How to link Microsoft brand (or smoother transition) between generation XP and generation Windows 7 (Not Vista it does not count). We present briefly (and again) the advantages (currently only so) of its use in Windows 7. That is:
Windows XP Mode is specially designed for small and medium-sized businesses to help ease the migration process to Windows 7 by providing addideal compatibility for their older productivity applications. Users can run and launch Windows XP applications in Windows XP Mode directly from a Windows 7 desktop.
Last week Windows XP Mode was promoted (from Beta at RC), on this occasion receiving a gift and some new features:
- accessibility of USB attached to the computer (printers, scanners, USB sticks, external hdd's, etc.) directly from Windows XP Mode.
- launching applications installed in XP Mode directly from the menus or from desktopul Windows 7
- accessing folders default from Windows 7 (My Documents, Desktop, Pictures, Music and Video) directly from Windows XP Mode
- copy / cut & paste between Windows 7 si Windows XP Mode
- access jump-list from Windows 7 Taskbar for applications installed in XP Mode
- the possibility to disable sharing between Windows 7 and XP Mode

Note: Windows XP Mode RC is compatible with Professional, Ultimate or enteroutlet ale Windows 7 RC or RTM. 1GB additional RAM + 15 GB space on hdd and a processor are also required (CPU) that supports hardware virtualization (make sure that AMD-V or Intel VT is enabled in the BIOS).
