Ideas rise Google like mushrooms after the rain: if you expect another product of renowned companies, be it how tiny, well it has rapidly developed. In an article posted yesterday Google official blogWas announced launching of the shortening service urls named Google URL Shortner or, more briefly, goo.gl.

In recent years, such services have become increasingly popular due to the extensive use of networks Micro-blogging (Ex. Twitter) for which short urls, we could say, are vital. Momentary, goo.gl will be available only to those who use two other Google services Google Toolbar si FeedBurner, Making it easier and faster link sharing siteAnd in terms of benefits, Google has listed three: stability, speed si security.

* Stability: Google's scalable, multi-datacenter infrastructure provides great uptime and a reliable service to our users.
* Security: As we do with web search, shortened URLs are automatically checked to detect sites that may be malicious and warn users when the short URL resolves to such sites.
* Speed: At Google we like fast products and we've worked hard to ensure this service is quick. We'll continue to iterate and improve the speed of Google Url Shortener.

So if you subscribe Feedburner and Google Toolbar, you can try the new service shortening of URLs goo.gl. If you use these Google services (and thus not interested Google URL Shortner) is ok. Maybe tomorrow or day after tomorrow (or next month ...) will be released a product (GoogleCourse) that will capture attention. Bet? :)
