Google Updater, trojan?

Lately I started using some applications off-line /desktopFrom Google Inc.. and every time you install an application, antiviral reacts to an executable in the package. GoogleUpdate.exe (Google Updater), is reported by Kaspersky and other anti-viruses (tested on Avast si AVG) As a possible trojan (Trojan.Generic).

Weird ... and on Google, I found too much data about this problem.

For more security, I gave it "Deny", but the applications (Google Gears, Picasa, etc.) did not run in normal parameters and I had to give them up. Okay, does anyone know about this phase? What are the risks if I leave the Google applicationupdate.exe, in startup?
