I saw that many are crazy about the new look of Windows 7. Even users who have installed Windows Vista they want on their systems a GUI (theme or msstyles) of Windows 7. Personally, I can't say that one looks better than the other. There is no very big difference between the graphic interfaces of the two systems. Let's say… Windows 7 would have a bit more visual effects, but the square shapes from taskbar lacking. In my opinion.
This is how a piece of the Taskbar looks like Start Menu on Windows7:
If you can install Windows 7 on your computers (it is free until January 24) or run a dual-boot Vista & Windows 7, there is only one option. Use a graphic theme, which will change the interface of Windows Vista Aero in the Windows 7 Aero.
All you have to do is download this file, unzip it and copy the contents from inside the archive to folder C:WindowsResourcesThemes. Patch-look Windows Vista a soft kind TuneUp Utilities 2009, then you can activate the theme Windows 7. After activating the theme, Windows Vista will look just like you Windows 7 (with small differences :P).

* I tested this theme on Windows Vista Home Premium (Aero Style).

You can set the transparency and color effects from "Personalize" (right-click on desktop) -> “Window Color and Appearance”.
