Even if the ads that bloom on the screen while browsing the Internet can be useful sometimes, most times they irritated by their presence inopportune. users Internet Explorer 8 have the ability to block these advertisements through a few simple steps:

  • first, activate option InPrivate Filtering menu Safety (IE8 Menu Bar).

  • then enter InPrivate Filtering Settings to lock (automatic or manual) or to display a specific type of content (including advertisements) while browsing the web (while, IE8 will form a list of your preferences and will become increasingly more efficient).
  • to have immediate results (over 80% from advertisements sent), download the following files xml (contain the characteristics of the famous add- on Firefox, AdBlock) Then import them into IE8 (InPrivate Filtering Settings -> Advanced Settings).

Download IE8 AdBlock Rules (xml files).

Every time you close Internet Explorer, the InPrivate Filtering option will be disabled. For this to remain active requires a small change in Registry:

  • open Registry Editor (Run-> regedit->Enter)
  • follow the path HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerSafetyPrivacy
  • in the right pane create the value (DWORD) HomeMode and give them value 1
ie8_reg

Thus Internet Explorer 8 will be started every time in InPrivate Filtering mode (you will no longer need to activate this option manually).
