The period since the last evaluation is a bit long, but not abnormal. In the first half of 2007, Google made two updatePageRank (January 10-14 and April 28-30) and looks like the following update, for 2007 will be the last. Compared to the last three years, this year it looks like it will be poorer by one update :).

Google PageRank Explained
PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual's page value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B.
