Up to Windows Vista, those who caught the operating system Windows XP or even older versions, I know that it was used for screenshots “Print Screen“ (key PrtScn). Starting with Windows Vista, Microsoft introduced the utility Snipping Tool dedicated for ecan catches. (screen shot) Snipping Tool it has been improved over the years and preserved until today, on Windows 11.
Theoretically, we could take a screenshot of absolutely anything Windows 11, but when a dialogue box intervenes User Account Control (UAC), Snipping Tool and keyboard shortcuts for screenshot become useless. This is because the area Desktop receives the UAC notification in a secure environment that does not allow any user action before taking the decisions indicated by the UAC notification.
Fortunately, there is a method by which you can take a screenshot of the UAC notification boxes.
