How to set a "welcome message" in the Logon Screen - Windows XP.

The "welcome message" is actually a legal notice, which was introduced by Microsoft on the operating system  Windows XP.
Creating a "welcome message" in Windows XP, consists in the modification of the legal notice box, which appears at the start of the operating system.
Here are steps for you:

1. Open the registry editor. Start -> Run -> “regedit” -> Enter or OK.

2. In the registry editor (Registry Editor), go to the tree on the left, to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows NT CurrentVersion Winlogon

3. We click on WinlogonAnd in the list on the right do right-click on LegalNoticeCaption and click on  Modify.

The "Value on”We enter the text that will appear on the blue bar of the Legal Notice box (you will see at the end of the tutorial, exactly where it will appear). Click OK.

3. In the same list on the right, search LegalNoticeText. Right-click & Modify.

At "Value data", write the text from the "Legal Notice" content, then press the OK key.

The result of these modifcari we will see each starting / reboot the PC.

Press the OK key to start the system. It's an interesting trick for those who use a PC at work. I can leave funny messages to colleagues or… boss :)
