Speed-up your XP - Optimize Display Settings

For some users of the operating system Window XP, system performance it's everything. Windows XP has a few visual effects who may steal the eye, but activated, they "steal" and the reaction speed the system. If your monitor does not hold necessarily as visual effects abound and you want to optimize system performance you, you can do it through a few simple steps:

Access control Panel (Shown menu button Home) And click the icon System (Performance and Maintenance).

In the open window select the tab Advanced, Then click the button Settings panel Performance.

In Performance OptionsClick on the tab Visual Effects, select Custom and check only options:

  • Show shadows under menus
  • Show shadows under mouse pointer
  • Show translucent selection rectangle
  • Use drop shadows for icons labels on the desktop
  • Use visual styles on windows and buttons

Apply si OK.

For optimum performance, but without any visual unefect in tab Visual Effects select Adjust for best performance.
