Well you-can know if a buddy is online and has marked you Standing offline (Stealth Settings) only if the guy has signed into yahoo in Available mode and NOT if he has signed as Invisible...

This Shows "00"If person is offline and"01"If His status is online.

Sometimes this method apr return wrong results (if There is Some problem in yahoo server) and if someone Appears online to you but is offline as per this method the then know that the guy has signed in as invisible and is appearing as online to you only.

This method does not work if user is to Using YM 8.0.0.508 or +.

Stealth settings Provide you more control over your time, by allowing you to choose the People who see you as online and offline.
If you are IMing with a few people and don't want to be interrupted, you can use Stealth Settings to appear invisible to everyone except the people you want to talk to. If you want to go completely Stealth and hide from all your friends, you can use the "Invisible to Everyone" status message.
