I think what chances with electrical light off every other day for "network improvement" and with OS Windows XP SP2 to enter a uptime contest :) Ok… chances are I will enter the contest but I can't afford to dream of uptime 5 years 280 days 10 hours , as presented in the 1st place on ro.uptime-project.net.
The competition is interesting and shows the stability of the operating systems quite clearly Linux/ SunOs compared to Windows . However, this morning I see that the 5th place is occupied by Windows 2000 with uptime of almost 5 years. Obviously, XP could not be with uptime 5 years but uptime statistics ~ 1 year… Linux, SunOs, FreeBSD
